Doris Salcedo's Public Works, 2015
This microsite is a collection of content developed in preparation for the exhibition Doris Salcedo, organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and on view February 21–May 24, 2015. The exhibition’s curators, Madeleine Grynsztejn and Julie Rodrigues Widholm, worked closely with the artist and her studio partners to develop an exhibition and publication that present all of Salcedo’s key bodies of work, many of which have never been shown together before. This site and the corresponding exhibition catalogue feature significant new research into Salcedo’s influences, methods, studio practice, and ideas.
